MY FATHER AND MY OLD GUITAR
A BITTER TRUTH
——————-

My father had bought me a guitar long long time ago at the cost of 90 indian rupee which was also in two installment..(45+45) Of my village senior brother, when i was very very small and was very excited of having it for to learn. I hardly remember those days of black and white where there was no TV, not even a cassette player, the main sources of music was radio and vinyl records (we used to call it changer player but its a gramophone) Anyways, the guitar i got from my poor father was a golden guitar for me and for my entire life. I can’t compare the costliest guitars of these days with it…i salute him, he was a very farsighted man gave us good educational facilities But unfortunately the guitar i had that time got destroyed.. Somewhere in the village where there was high time of Gorkhaland movement going on….. To day i have such a wonderful and costliest guitars with me but still I don’t believe in those stuffs, I believe in practice and devotion..I Love my ama and apa..
